WoW 3v3 Arena Matches on Broadcast TV

WoW on CBS Sports
Looks like I have to get my ass up and in front of the television tomorrow morning at 9am to watch some arena battles. The WSVG Louisville will be on CBS, unfortunately it looks like sitting through some guitar hero before they get to the good stuff.

Update: For WoW, they only showed the final game of Team Insurrection vs. Pandemic. It wasnt even a close game, Team Insurrection just got rolled over.

My girlfriend is pissed that the judges gave the guitar hero tiebreaker to kov for busting his guitar at the end of the song, despite wulf79 having a better overall performance.

Eyonix: Don't expect to see David Letterman or even CSI when you tune in to CBS this Sunday, July 29 at noon Eastern Time. It will instead be locked in the midst of a battle between the Horde and the Alliance on the distant world of Azeroth. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will make its network television debut on CBS Sports as part of an hour-long special on the World Series of Video Games circuit stop in Louisville, Kentucky.

The World Series of Video Games, presented by Intel, features World of Warcraft as a headline title and gives players a chance to play for a piece of the $90,000 prize pot. Check out some hardcore 3v3 PvP Arena action as the best World of Warcraft teams in America fight for the gold (medal, that is). Be sure to see Team Pandemic under the watchful eye of Joseph "Noktyn" Romano take on Insurrection, Mob TurtlePower, fnatic and other heavyweights. Can they hold their own or will there be a new top team in town?

The only way to find out is to tune in Sunday, July 29 on CBS Sports at 12 p.m. Eastern Time/9 a.m. Pacific Time. Check out the WSVG CBS Sports teaser video by following the link below.

Addendum: The New York Times has an online article up about the event.

BlizzCon 2007!
Also, WorldOfWar.Net has a copy of the Blizzcon 2007 schedule. Somehow they managed to beat blizzard to the punch posting it.

Also, if you are going to BlizzCon, check your email for the character copy notice. I suspect they will be used for previewing Zul'Aman and/or pvp.
