From a google translation of this Gamona page, it seems to confirm that this is an OK'd playable demo of the expansion for the Game Convention 2007 on (August 23rd-26th) Older Expansion Rumors: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King? You get a 403 permission denied error if you you navigate your browser to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath. Note that this is different from a 404 error, where the file doesn't exist. So, there's something there, but the permissions are set to not allow viewing. MMO Champion is feeling pretty confident that this is the real deal, with level cap increase to 75, and playable deathknight class? My guildmate Yohaan suggests the real Wrath title might be something else... Sictor: mayhaps it's Wrath of Khan?
Cob: hahah Hurtdog: haha Hurtdog: WoW expansions are a dish best served cold? Sictor: they could have the new continent of seti alpha five No you cannot haz a reprieve from expansions. Feeling confident we'll find out more on Friday. Nethaera:
First off, we haven't announced what the expansion will be as of yet nor have we even given a particular time frame of when we expect to release it. The most anyone has at this point is that we'd like to release one every year. Secondly, an expansion release is not going to dictate the rate at which you personally choose to play the game. If you and your guildmates and friends aren't through Karazhan yet, then you certainly don't have to do anything more than concentrate on that aspect of the game until you are through. How fast or slow you get through content is completely up to the choices you make. I think there are a lot of players that feel they need to keep up with the 'Joneses' so to speak to feel successful in game, but in reality, success is how you and your guildmates and friends personally measure it. If you are meeting the goals you set out for yourself, then you are right on target. If you are not, then make a new strategy to get yourself there. Setting goals in game can be much the same as setting a goal in real life. If you think about what you want, plan for it, and then go for it, it's going to come your way. It may take time, but it will happen. Most important, enjoy the journey, more paths will be available to you as you go along. They will be waiting for you and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. |
