Wow!

I'm back at work today, after an exhaustingly long flight home with multiple plane delays, and will be trying to find some time to get more notes posted tonight. BLIZZCON ROCKED SO HARD THIS YEAR.

Video Games Live and L70ETC was way way awesome. Jay Mohr was kind of a letdown during the costume contest, but he did a pretty good job with the audience heckling him Saturday night at the closing concert. Armrha CAUGHT a L70ETC shirt (which was amazing, considering we were in the balcony). L70ETC played some new songs, 'Rogues do it from behind', and 'Terran up the night', as well as some good old fashioned alliance baiting. I got some video on my camera from the concert, but I still need to get it pulled off, as my battery was dead. ;) Looks like some other people on YouTube got videos up tho!

Rogues Do it From Behind!

VGL put on a great performance, it was simply amazing. The bit about Northrend audio was not true, but they had the composer from Diablo1 theme playing the 12 string guitar (beautiful), as well as the secret song that Lady Sylvanus sings live! The MC for VGL wasn't entirely familiar with WoW in some cases: "Lets all meet in Goldenshire!" LOL! ;)

Some other little tidbits out of notes to post later.
Legendary Pictures (300, batman begins) is going to invest a LOT of money in the film, it will be set in the time prior to the original release of WoW. It is from the alliance point of view, and will focus on the conflict between the horde and the alliance. Noteable NPCs they mentioned will be Jaina Proudmoore and Thrall, as well as a brand new 'kickass hero' for the alliance.

They will be shifting honor gain in AV to later in the match, and allow you to report afkers. After a certain number of people report an AFKer, they get a debuff that stops honor gain until they get in combat.

PvP weapons in the next arena season will require 1900ish arena rating to use, and when season III starts, the season I arena rewards will become reasonably priced honor-point purchases.

Hilarious!
